Happy National Siblings Day!
It's National Siblings Day today and I wanted to tell the world (*slash* whoever reads this blog) that I love my sisters. I also think it's a great opportunity to share this gem of a photo. Notice how happy my oldest sister Megan looks in her penguin costume. Also, notice how we are all wearing winter coats underneath our Halloween costumes. Thanks, Mom.

Quote of the Week: October 28

"I named my guitar 'Roosevelt', not Ted, Franklin. You know, the hot one, with polio."
— Ellen Page as Juno
*In honor of my Halloween costume for today.*

I Love Fall

1. The Fashion
Sweaters, boots, cuffed jeans, cardigans, scarves, hats, gloves...so many fabulous fashion items I can't even begin to choose a fave.
2. The Food
Pumpkins and apples and spices — oh my!
3. The Holidays
Thanksgiving, Halloween...the kick off of football season (to me — and my family — that's a holiday). What's not to love?
4. The Colorful, Falling Leaves (see above)
I really feel like there is no more that needs to be said. Except maybe the fact that stepping on crunchy leaves may result in one of the best sounds ever. Far superior to people uttering the word "moist" 'cause that's just gross.
5. The Weather
Call me crazy, but I think fall is the most perfect weather season of them all. Why? Because it's not too hot and it's not too cold. You can wear a light jacket but boots are not mandatory and you aren't getting some part of your body wet everyday. I. Just. Love. It. Not to mention, you can still do things outside yet do not need to get sweaty.
